Cardio on the Curve Treadmills. Strength training on the Megaformer. It’s a true fitness love story.
Join us for this exciting new workout in our Podium studio!

Tread + Tone

This 50-minute class offers the best of both worlds – cardiovascular work and strength training! We combine 25 minutes of cardio on the Curve with 25 minutes of Slow Resistance Training on the Megaformer!

This class is designed for all levels, whether it’s your first time running or you are preparing for a race. Our self-powered treadmill allows the runner to decide the speed based on their stride and the effort they put into it.

Elev8 Tread

Our 30-minutes Tread class includes walking, jogging, running, sprinting, and ab work (don’t worry – it’s not 30 minutes straight of running!). Each class is different, however, the common theme you will see is that all of our classes follow the rhythm of the music.

Our methodology is designed around the concept of Rates of Perceived Exertion (RPE), which allows us to teach to a group of people at varying levels. This class is designed for all levels, whether you’re a new runner or preparing for a race.

Come try the new treadmill everyone is raving about. There is a lot to love about the Woodway Curve.

Do I need to be a runner?

Absolutely not! This class is designed for all levels. There are no pre-requisites for this class, that means you can join even if it’s your first time at Elev8! Our instructors are available before class to get you set up on the machine and offer tips to guide you through class.

Do I start on the Tread or the Megaformer?

We operate on a first come, first served basis. You can choose which you’d like to start on when you arrive for class. Our general rule of thumb is if you want to focus on your cardio, start on the Tread. If you want to focus on your strength training, start on the Megaformer. If you have a preference, we suggest arriving a little earlier than usual. If it is your first time, please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can give you a run down of both machines before you start class.

What do I need to bring to class?

Bring your running shoes and socks for Tread and your grip socks for the Megaformer. Grip socks are available for purchase in the studio. We offer hand towels and a water station – so don’t forget your reusable bottle so you can stay hydrated!

What happens after class?

Class includes a stretch after the 50-minute session. Be sure to stick around afterwards and give those muscles some love! We also have showers, hair dryers, and spa amenities so you can leave as fresh as you arrived.

Can I take these classes in either studio?

Come join us at our Podium location if you want to catch the Curve!

I’m not a runner, but Tread makes you feel that you are truly in control of your own workout. It gives you so much room to grow and improve while also making you feel comfortable and challenged at your current level.

Time is precious, so Tread hits the spot. It’s the most efficient and effective workout because I get cardio and toning done in one quick session. Plus, the euphoric feeling I get each time I take class – best feeling ever!

I’m glad I have Tread + Tone as a part of my weekly routine. It’s the only workout I enjoy that helps me reach my goals of building endurance and muscle strength while burning the most calories in the least amount of time.
