What kind of workout regimen did you have before you started Lagree?
Prior to Lagree, my training was very discipline based, including cycling, running, etc. I needed to add a strength component.
How has Lagree differed from your other workouts?
I like the combination of strength training across the whole body, with the additional bonus of cardio.
How did Lagree help you prepare for that amazing placement in Ironman?
Lagree helped in building my strength and flexibility alongside the endurance. It is easy to focus on specific areas of the body, from core to legs and upper body.
What Lagree move was the most beneficial for training?
The two areas which are super helpful are core and legs. My personal favourite is Express Lunge.
What advice would you give to people interested in training for Ironman?
The advice I would give is in 3 areas:
It is all about discipline, don’t miss your workouts.
Set goals and go after them!
Today we have amazing tools to help; use technology to ensure you are training in the right zones, and measure your improvements.
The final thing I would say is, imagine yourself crossing the line! It’s an amazing feeling every time.
